A Bittersweet Goodbye and a Sweet New Beginning

After seven unforgettable years, we are closing a chapter that has meant everything to us. Moss Rock Tacos & Tequila has been more than just a restaurant—it’s been the soundtrack of laughter on our patio, the backdrop for friendships at the bar, the setting for countless memories with all of you who walked through our doors. From the very bottom of our heart, thank you for every visit, every smile, and every moment you’ve shared with us.

The cat’s out of the bag now, and we’re thrilled to finally share what’s next!

We are transforming the Moss Rock Tacos space into something brand new and deeply personal: Vecchia Gelato & Café. This vision was born during our travels through Italy, built on the same passion and authenticity that fuels everything we do at Vecchia Pizzeria. This new concept will bring you the sweeter (and savory!) side of what we love about Italian culture.

When you step into Vecchia Gelato & Café, you’ll experience:

• Bold Italian coffees that transport you straight to a Roman piazza
• Delectable pastries crafted from recipes collected throughout Italy
• Sparkling spritzes and refreshing drinks perfect for unwinding with friends
• Italian street food favorites – from porchetta sandwiches I perfected in Tuscany to focaccia flatbreads, golden arancini, and more

And of course, our family-made gelato, created with techniques learned from third-generation gelato masters.

Our last day at Moss Rock Tacos & Tequila will be Sunday, August 31st. Please come by for your favorite tacos, margaritas, and one last celebration before we transform the space.
